What is it and what is it for?

Multicoloured pepper is a mix of whole peppercorns of several colours, to grind at the last moment. Each colour adds a different nuance, and in a clear grinder the mix is on show at the table.

In the kitchen

Freshly ground over griddled meat, white fish, salads and carpaccio, or over pasta with butter and cheese.
