What is it and what is it for?

Figliata di bufala is a large buffalo milk mozzarella filled with stracciatella, in a 1 kg piece. It goes to the table closed and is opened when served, so the filling spills onto the plate.

In the kitchen

To share, with roasted tomatoes and basil, or with anchovies and toasted bread.
