What is it and what is it for?

Grated emmental saves you the grater: cow's milk emmental, in a 1 kg pack. As it melts it stretches and forms a golden crust, which is why it is the cheese for gratins.

How to store it

Fresh: into the cold room as soon as it arrives. It travels chilled from the warehouse and should be used before the date on the pack.
