What is it and what is it for?

More flavour than a brie and the same white rind: camembert is a soft cow's milk cheese. It comes in a 2 kg pack, to be cut into portions to suit each plate.

In the kitchen

Breaded and fried with red berry jam, baked with garlic and rosemary for dipping bread, or on the cheese board.

How to store it

Fresh: into the cold room as soon as it arrives. It travels chilled from the warehouse and should be used before the date on the pack.
