What is it and what is it for?

Brie has a white rind, which is edible, and a creamy centre: it is a soft cow's milk cheese. It comes in a 1 kg piece: in wedges for the board, and in slices for the oven.

In the kitchen

With grapes and fig jam, on toast grilled with walnuts and honey, or melted inside a ham sandwich.
