What is it and what is it for?

Edam is a cow's milk cheese with a mild flavour and a firm texture, which cuts into very thin slices. It comes in a 2 kg block, to go through the slicer.

In the kitchen

On the hotel breakfast buffet, in rolls and sandwiches, and diced for a salad or a skewer.

How to store it
