What is it and what is it for?

Quark is a fresh, unripened cheese: white, silky and with a slight tang, eaten by the spoonful like a thick yoghurt. It comes in a 5 kg pack, for pastry and the cold kitchen.

In cheesecakes and filling creams, in cold herb sauces for potatoes or vegetables, and with fruit on the breakfast buffet.

How to store it

Fresh: into the cold room as soon as it arrives. It travels chilled from the warehouse and should be used before the date on the pack.
